The story reaches its climax as both armies prepare to clash in a decisive battle at Farnham in Sussex.

The book is due a January release in the US which is after the Christmas period for reasons which are beyond our comprehension, unless books are not usually bought as Christmas presents in the States. - 30544

3 QuickBooks Online Add-Ons that Maybe Required to Operate Your Business

By Sandor Lenner,CPA

There are 3 important QuickBooks Online Add-ons that may be important to the way you manage your business with QuickBooks Online. This article will discuss these QuickBooks Online add ons and will provide you with information that you should consider to make an informed business decision. This article will inform you of the additional expenses that may not be apparent when considering the purchase of QuickBooks Online.

Currently, Intuit offers three QuickBooks Online products. These products are QuickBooks Online -free, QuickBooks Online Basic, and QuickBooks Online Plus. Please refer to my other articles that review the features of QuickBooks Online Basic and QuickBooks Online Plus.

Add-On for Credit Card Sales From Customers - To process, approve and record credit card sales you need to purchase QuickBooks Online Merchant. Accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other credit card types can attract new customers, help you get paid faster, and save you time in collecting payments. This ability to accept credit card payments is called a merchant account service. With the QuickBooks Online Merchant account, you are able to authorize and process credit card transactions with either QuickBooks Online Basic or QuickBooks Online Plus. This credit card add-on, processes and records payments from customers, in real time, thereby eliminating the need to manually record credit card sales in your QuickBooks. For this add-on, there is a onetime set up fee of $59.95 and a monthly fee of $19.95, along with standard authorization and credit card fees. If you are able to purchase this from a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor there are substantial discounts available for these services.

A cost saving aspect is that the use of QuickBooks Online Merchant does save you money because you do not need to lease phone lines and lease terminal hardware or software. It is also important to note that for in store credit card sales, a merchant service card reader does not work and the use of a credit card reader requires QuickBooks desktop software, 2002 or higher. Intuit designed their online product so you do not have to use a credit card reader. The alternative is not that bad, you have to manually type in the credit card number and enter the customer sale information typically included in an invoice. In a few moments, you are informed if the customer payment is approved or declined by the credit card company. (For example, the other day when I was in a major department store, and they manually inserted my credit card for the credit card imprint into a manual credit card reader,so even large national department stores still have manual processes.)

Payroll Add On- If you have employees including yourself, then you need to have a payroll package or add-on. Intuit, sells a payroll add-on for QuickBooks Online separately and is not included with either QuickBooks Basic or QuickBooks Plus. Intuit sells the following online and payroll products as of the date of this article (a) QuickBooks Online Basic ($9.95 monthly) and payroll ($9.95 monthly) and (b) QuickBooks Online Plus ($34.95 monthly) and payroll ($9.95 monthly),sometimes Intuit offers a 20% discount for Plus version. If you purchase QuickBooks Online Plus from a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor there is another 20% discount available to you bringing the total discount to 40%. QuickBooks ProAdvisor discount pricing maybe subject to change.

Inventory Add On- Generally speaking, neither QuickBooks Online Basic nor QuickBooks Online Plus offers an inventory accounting package. Some companies keep their inventories in Excel and record inventory amounts monthly in QuickBooks Online. Alternatively, you can purchase inventory add-ons such as OE Companion which offers inventory accounting with a 30 day free trial or you can obtain inventory add-ons from the Intuit Market Place by going to the Intuit website. I have not reviewed any of these add-ons and make no representations or warranties as to their compatibility, effectiveness and suitability for your needs. On a plus note, Intuit is working on an inventory add on.

This article was written to provide information to a purchaser of QuickBooks Online. The article is introductory and does not attempt to assess your specific business needs. As is the case for any purchase of hardware or software, professional analysis should be undertaken to carefully evaluate your business needs by your accountant, CPA, or a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor prior to purchasing any add-on or any software application. - 30544

Great Ideas For Dressing Your Fall Bridal Party

By Andrea McClure

One of your responsibilities as a bride is to dress your bridal party. This can be a bit challenging if you are planning a fall wedding with its more robust hues. First, not all your friends will look good in certain fall colors. Second you will have to use different flowers and more flattering styles if color does not flatter the figure or silhouette. You also want to make sure that your flower girl and ring bearer look as adorable as possible. Well don?t fret there is room for creativity and to make your bridal party looks its best. Here are some great suggestions and ideas to help you get started.

Fall means different things to different people depending on where they live in the United States and elsewhere. This is a great boon because it gives you more options to work with. In this article we will work with two common fall themes and demonstrate how you can best dress your bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, and ring bearer in season hues and make it look excellent.

Your bridesmaids are some of the most visible people of your bridal party because of their dresses. Unlike the groomsmen their entire clothing will be the hues and colors you chose. For a fashionable and understated look we can draw inspiration from the vineyard theme and the fall nature theme. Vineyard theme weddings focus on dark colors such as purple, maroon, crimson, and deep red. There also the colors associate with white wines, such as champagne or chardonnay which are light golden colors. A great option is to choose dresses in the darker colors and accent them with a splash of light wine colors. The contrast will be beautiful and elegant and will suit the majority of your bridesmaids? coloring. If one color does not suit everyone try varying the dresses under the different shades just mentioned. Since they are wine colors they will still be coordinated and not look out of place as long you don?t make the color contrast too great. In the case of the traditional fall season theme you can work with metallic hues and deep oranges, warm red and subdued yellows for a look that is not too garish.

For your groomsmen keep it simple. Black or dark colored formal wear with light splashes of color focused on the neckwear, cummerbund, and/or vest. The simple look will be simple, sophisticated and elegant. Make sure that the suits are tailored to fit each groomsman and that they are comfortable in what they are wearing. Also use fall colored blossoms for the boutonniere.

For your flower girl and ring bearer you can go all out with your imagination. There are several options for the flower girl. For the fall vineyard look dress in a simple but adorable wine colored frock and have her carry purple or crimson flowers in a bouquet. This look will make her look adorable in a basic and elegant manner. For the fall theme you can go with the same style but use golden hues or accents in the sash or bow of the dress. You can also go for something more fanciful dressing her as a seasonal pixie or fairy with autumn leaves and blossoms being used for her wreath. The ring bearer can pretty much follow the same style guidelines as the groom and groomsmen but with more latitude for the color. - 30544

Beautiful Suggestions For An Autumn Rural Wedding

By Andrea McClure

One of the most glamorous and touching theme weddings is the rural fall wedding. It invokes the best memories of the American heartland creating a ceremony beautiful in its simplicity and tradition as well as richness and drama. It is like drawing a piece of history into your nuptials. The rural marriage ceremony and reception relies on the hallmark motifs of the farm, country living, and the general motifs of the fall season. A bride needs to know what will work best to bring out the best in the venue and how decorations are displayed to bring out the true beauty of the theme rather than just get hitched in a dingy old barn. The exciting challenge is in making the old or mundane into something extraordinary and beautiful.

The location where you are holding your wedding is important. If you live in a rural area it should be normally be a simpler matter to find a local farm to rent out for the occasion. The basics are that the barn or location where you have the ceremony should be serviceable and reasonable affair. Don?t get all romantic seeing a rundown barn and dreaming of renovating it for your wedding. First of all, there are safety concerns. Second, it will likely be quite possible and you will end up wishing you just bought the whole farm instead. If you choose to hold it in a field outdoors make sure that you get all the appropriate items needed for a wedding.

Decorations are going to follow the harvest theme for the ceremony location and the reception. Use harvest and rural themed items to give a genuine look to your nuptials. Some great ideas I?ve come across is to use commonly used country fabrics like cotton in its various forms such as calico or muslin. A really unique idea is to use sheaves of wheat as candle stands. This way you can use the warm intimate light of traditional candles for the ceremony and still emphasize the sense of autumn. This is a great idea for the barn venue or for a night time wedding outdoors. Make sure that you follow all fire safety precautions if you are using candles. You can also mark the aisles with bunches of wheat or corn at each row of seating

Use the reception menu as an opportunity to give the best that country cooking has to offer such as ham, bacon, roast chicken, succotash, beans, fruit preserves and pies. This is simple but rich food that will satisfy your guest?s appetites and give them a taste of the heartland that they will be dreaming of long after the end of the festivities.

Use simple country style dinnerware for the reception tables and use harvest or rural themed place cards for accents in your reception. For your favor gifts, use harvest themed edible favors in food trays. Great suggestions are sausage and cheese sets. You can also give unique gifts like apple butter or jars of honey. Then of course, use the standard fare stationary, pens, magnets and cups. You just need to make sure they have a harvest theme to theme.

The end results of your preparations will be spectacular. You will bring the simple goodness and genuine old fashioned beauty of the country in fall to your wedding in a unique and special way. - 30544

Price Increases Make Marketing More Challenging

By Michael Fleischner

For those of us who have our own businesses or work in corporate America, the idea of a price increase isn't new. In fact, annual price increases are one of the fastest ways for you to earn a few extra dollars to improve margins and cover growing costs.

Price increases can negatively impact the sales and marketing efforts for today's busy marketing professional. A price increase on products or services that haven't changed creates a difficult scenario for current customers familiar with a lower cost. This is especially true when we hear objections from our customers expressing their dissatisfaction. With few or literally no changes to a given product overcoming objections is difficult.

The biggest issue that many marketers have about the dreaded price increase is losing customers to lower priced competitors. This is especially true in segments where competitors products are priced less than your offering. There is always someone else that your customer can buy from and sometimes that is a very real option. You will be glad to know however that a recent study found that few customers migrate to a competitor based on prices alone.

There are a number of reasons why customers do not jump ship so quickly. The bottom line is that switch has costs associated with it. These costs are both and emotional as well as financial.

Your customers, and all consumers for that matter, have been conditioned to find the lowest price possible for any given product or service. When rolling out a price increase, customers do not want to pay full price. This is why they continue to ask for discounts even after a price increase has been put into affect.

Price increase can be modest or substantial. Depending on the scope of your price increase, customers may react in a very different manner. Below I have listed a few things to think about before rolling out your price list. Keep in mind that you may want to segment your messaging to have maximum impact.

Increase the value of your product and raise the price. Doing so allows you to justify the price to your customers. This removes any type of obstacle associated with price increases that are simply a way to earn the company more money but provide no benefit to the consumer. Determine how you could provide additional services, support, or terms to support a price increase.

Evaluate the cost for your customer to switch. This consideration has always been popular among phone companies. They not only want to sell more to existing customers, but they also want to attract new ones. You must be able to explain to your customer what costs he will incur if he changes providers. These costs may be both financial as well as emotional. How much time, energy, and resources will it take to truly switch?

Do not treat all customers equally. I know it is taboo today to say such a thing but not all customers are equal. Some have been with you a long time. Others are working with you for the first time. Your price increases should reflect the individuality of your customers and the impact you wish to have. Consider treating customers differently.

The last piece of advice I can give anyone thinking about delivering price increases is to fully understand the competition and what types of alternatives are available to those you currently serve.

If your company offers a better package at an equal or more favorable price, the notion of losing droves of customers over a single price increase really is not an issue. If your offering is less valuable however then investments may need to be made to enhance the product or simply revisit pricing. - 30544

Helpful Suggestions For A Planning Your Fall Wedding

By Aaron Hu

This fall many brides are deciding to go off the beaten path and eschew the spring and summer wedding for the more unconventional fall nuptials. There are many exciting choices this offers that would not be normally available during other times of the year. You are now able to use bolder colors and bring a new atmosphere of warmth and energy only this time of the year can provide. The fall season is one of transitions so why not celebrate the biggest transition of all during this season. Here are some great ideas and suggestions to help you as you plan your fall wedding whether it is outdoors or indoors.

First think about the location where you are holding the wedding. If you are in an outdoor location you will need to make sure that environment is comfortable. This can be a challenge especially in the cooler months. To deal with the cold, use patio heaters strategically placed around the seats and altar. If you are holding the event indoors check that central heating is not an issue and if it is, make the necessary arrangements. Also when choosing a location for an outdoor fall ceremony try to find a place that serves as a great seasonal backdrop. Great choices are a public park or golf course. Since this theme has to do with nature find the best examples nature in the fall to be setting for your exchanging of vows.

The next thing to focus on is the decorations for the ceremony. For an outdoor wedding the location plays a major part in this aspect. The rest of the decorations you use for seating and the altar should center on the scenery. You can take a page from outdoor weddings in warmer months. Use seasonal arrangements of flowers and foliage in arches near the altar or location where you will exchange vows. You can also decorate the seats of those attending them by having them painted in fall colors and decorated with seasonal motifs. Then of course there are the aisle markers. You can do a lot of different things. You can use small bouquets of seasonal flowers and foliage, pumpkins, or sheaves of harvest grains. For the indoor ceremony your goal is to bring the season inside. Do this employing a lot of seasonal foliage and harvest grains to decorate the sanctuary and altar. Also go for scented candles that come in fall fragrances.

Finally there is the reception. This can also be done in doors and out. A great suggestion for an outdoor reception is to use tents for the festivities. Once again use space heaters and patio heaters to keep everyone if the weather is cool. Make it a fall picnic scene with all the attending decorations and seasonal imagery. If you choose an indoor venue you just repeat the same design cue for the indoor ceremony. Use fragrant fall foliage to decorate the walls and the entrance to the reception location.

In either an indoor or outdoor wedding reception it is important to think about table decorations and wedding favors. These are important because they help bring the theme of your wedding front and center for your guests. For the centerpieces there are several routes to go. Once again use flowers in fall hues and seasonal foliage and grasses. In making the centerpieces make sure they dominate the tables. Your guests will need space for the dinnerware. In the case of favors go fun and useful items that are customized in the colors and images of the season. - 30544

Finding Price Guns On The Internet

By Shaun R Tillby

Pricing guns are important items in shops and retail establishments. They save time because hand writing price labels isn't necessary which releases staff for more important work. For those business people who need to buy a new price gun, one of the best ways of finding a supplier is on the internet.

Nowadays most pricing gun suppliers have their own business websites on the internet. There you will be able to view what is on offer and maybe even be able to order online. This is an excellent way to search for the best pricing guns at the best price. You will also want to find a provider who you can trust and keeps to prompt delivery schedules.

While purchasing pricing guns, or any other items for that matter, the net,is very convenient - it avoids you or one of staff having to personally visit the suppliers premises. This saves you time and the cost of getting there. But there is a downside. If ordering on the net you will not be physically able to handle the items you are buying, or, of course, try them out. This may not be a problem if the gun is one you have already used, but if it is a brand not known to you it means you could be buying a product based purely on a description on the website.

Some suppliers websites may have a help or contact line that enables you to ask a representative about the products. You may prefer this way to purchase the goods over the phone rather than buying them online on the website. Speaking direct to your supplier will also allow you to enquire about discounts.

One advantage of viewing a supplier's website is that you can view the full range of goods on offer, some which you may not have been aware of. By searching through more than one website you will improve the opportunity of securing a better deal.

The internet also broadens the range of pricing guns suppliers you will be able to do business with. Instead of being limited by distance, you can now do business with suppliers throughout the country.

It is obviously very important that you deal with companies who can guarantee a quick turnaround from ordering to delivery. Also you need to be certain of regularity of supply as well. By dealing on the internet you are more likely to find suppliers who can guarantee this, as well selling you the best value pricing guns. A phone number displayed on your pricing gun suppliers site will enable you to contact them for details as well as ironing out any problems that might arise.

In summary using the internet is not only convenient, it also helps you to find the best value pricing guns by allowing you access to a wider range of suppliers. - 30544

Howling Good Ideas For A New Moon Themed Party

By Andrea McClure

One of the biggest movies releases this fall will be the movie adaptation of New Moon. New Moon is the second installation in the wildly popular Twilight series. The series is based on four novels by author, Stephenie Meyers and is about the challenging romance between a human girl, Bella Swan, and a vampire Edward Cullen. In the second installation Bella is abandoned by Edward and a love triangle develops with far reaching consequences as she gets close to her child hood friend Jacob Black who is revealed to be a werewolf. This fall celebrate the release of this movie at your birthday, Halloween, or movie release party. A great way to do so is a have a New Moon themed party with Twilight Party supplies and favors. Here are some great suggestions to get you started as you start planning your event.

First off the theme for New Moon is vampires versus werewolves. If you have seen movies like Van Helsing or Underworld you know that vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies. In New Moon it?s no different and Bella is caught in the middle. For decorations you can use movie posters of actors in the Twilight movie franchise. Try to use posters of Jacob Black and Edward Cullen to decorate the walls of your party location. You can also get life sized cut-outs of the characters for your guests to take pictures with. Another thing to do is to use the imagery of the book cover. The image on the cover is a tulip so use them freely in decorating the venue. You can use them in centerpieces and other decorations.

For food you can do a lot of different things. One great idea is to have wolf shaped chocolates and cookies. Also try to find similar themed candies online. Of course since this is also a book where we meet Italian vampires serve staples like lasagne, pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs with extra sauce. Also don?t forget to have red drinks like cranberry juice and Cool-Aid. You can also serve moon shaped snacks as well in honor of the book?s title.

Another thing to consider while you are planning your party is the music. You can go to Stephenie Meyer?s website and get a playlist of the songs she listened to as she wrote New Moon. If you need more music extrapolate by finding more music by the artists on the playlists. This will help add variety. Another good idea is to mix in some top 40 hits to provide some great dance music.

Of course you also have to have great party favors. There are several options available. For example you can give wolf and moon bracelet charms to keep with the theme. You can also give promotional items from the movie like posters, pins, or pens. Of course you can also go with edible favors. Try to get twilight themed candies or make red velvet cupcakes. These will be great hits as gifts for your guests.

Last but not least try to come up with activities that everyone can enjoy. A great idea is to have trivia games based on the book. You can read lines from the book where either vampires or werewolves used their abilities and have guests guess which powers are werewolf powers and which were vampire powers. - 30544

Keeping Your Wedding Budget In Check

By Aaron Hu

It is your day and you love seeing your name written in gold foil on fancy paper. That is so very understandable. Personalized wedding favors are nice too. But in a day when customization is very affordable some people get a little crazy and personalize everything. At some point that starts to a look a bit tacky and over done. It sometimes seems people would customize the swans if the ASPCA would let them. To the contrary, personalized favor boxes are elegant and classic and you can just leave it at that. It isn't always necessary to have monogrammed table cloths and the like.

If you want to add a personal flair to your wedding, add a little bit of you, there are still plenty of ways to do it. Take your music, for example. If you are hiring a band you have already made a personal choice. You are saying that this type of music is me. Fewer and fewer people, however, use bands. There is a certain variety of music you will want to hear and no band can do a great job playing every type of song. This is why the DJ is the way more people go these days. Here too you want to be a little careful. Make sure you get a good one. The DJ should know the songs that he will have to play (the first dance, the Father of the Bride/Bride dance) but also some of your favorite songs. He or she needs to develop a feel for the mood that needs to be set. In that way they are like chefs. You don't play AC/DC for a 70 year old couple renewing their vows. Your DJ should be able to capture the mood you want. If you are on a very tight budget you might even have a friend mix you a CD with all the songs you want played. You really can't get any more personal than that!

If you are on a budget you can still do a lot of customization. Go ahead and have some real flowers but know what you are ordering and what they look like and even take a picture if they have an example on hand. Now head off to a silk wholesaler. They are the people that sell artificial flowers to the florist. They have great prices if you find one that sells to the public. Use the real flowers in the most conspicuous places then use the cheaper counterparts to fill in. Doing that you can really stretch your flower budget and still have it look outstanding.

Another great place to save money and end up with better results is with disposable cameras. The use of disposable cameras at receptions is common but also make sure to hand a few out before the wedding. Have your photographer come and do the main photos but make a deal and send him home early, you'll have 100's of photos anyway. If you get the cameras without the prepaid processing those camera get very inexpensive yet still take great pictures.

There are a lot of opportunities for cost saving involved in planning a wedding. Some vendors will try to convince you that if you don't get a particular item you must not be in love. That is about as silly as it sounds. But do make sure to have everything you do need for a beautiful, classic wedding and you can leave the swans alone. - 30544

5 Fun Ideas For Planning A Twilight Themed Party

By Aaron Hu

This fall a lot of "Twi-Hards" will be waiting with baited breath for the release of New Moon in theatres. The movie continues the story of Bella and Edward as their relationship faces a new set of challenges with Bella ending up in a love triangle between her, her werewolf friend Jacob, and Edward and that is just the beginning. If you are planning your own themed party based on the movie you are probably wondering what you can do to set your party apart from the rest. Here are some great ideas for Twilight themed party decorations that will be sure to make you the envy of your friends.

The very first thing you need to do is pick a venue. Will you be having a house party or doing it at a public place? This will help you know what you have to work with when decorating. Normally a smaller place is good because you won?t have to spend as much on decorations. So if you are just having a get together with your gal pals then go for intimate. If it is an all out bash go for a more public venue with added event services. This will make planning that much easier.

The next thing to think about is the Theme. New Moon is the part of the Twilight franchise where we get introduced to werewolves. However they are not like the traditional kind and are rooted in Native American legend. This alone can give you a lot of interesting ideas to work with as you start decorating. Of course your basic colors will be dictated by the book covers so you will be using red, black, and white. As I mentioned before the werewolves in New Moon are Native Americans so look online for great items you can use to decorate the venue and mix with more common Twilight themed gear. Of course try to use movie posters, posters of the book cover, and life sized cut-outs of the actors as items to decorate with. You can also use more standard party gear like balloons and streamers.

Another thing to think about is favors. Once again movie promotional merchandise is your friend. You can also go with edible favors. Since is near the time for Halloween you should be able to find some great Twilight themed candy. If you are not sure what everyone will like try having a candy bar and get nice favor boxes to put them in. You can also use other fall favorites like candied apples and pumpkin flavor pastries. You can also give stationary, diaries, pens, or party toys such as fake fangs with wolf and vampire themes.

Another thing to take into account is activities. If the party is going to be a sleep over watching Twilight on DVD or reading New Moon are great suggestions. Also try to look up cool movie themed games online. You will be amazed at some of the innovative games and activities you will find.

Of course a party is not a party without food. First try to serve some of the foods mentions in the Twilight series such as lasagna, pizza, or spaghetti. You can also have vampire themed desserts like vanilla ice cream covered in strawberry syrup. You can also have a Twilight Cake with an edible image topper. - 30544

Plastic Bags: Benefits of Plastic Bags

By Jim Zargot

Plastic or "poly" bags are considered a staple of household storage, used in virtually every home. Even so, some people ponder as to why they should use a plastic bag when so many storage options are available.

Plastic bags are known first and foremost for their economy of space. Multiple bags can be stored close together in a single drawer or cupboard, allowing for maximum storage potential. Plastic containers, even when compact, take up far more space.

Poly bags are soft to the touch and can be handled with ease. Many come complete with embossed tops to facilitate handling, and are made with double-track closures that make them easy to open and close. They're easy on your other senses as well; sealed plastic bags block out odor, which is why they're used frequently as trash containers.

These bags come in many different sizes, and can store everything from a small pile of toothpicks to large amounts of leftovers.

Many plastic bags are sealable. Unlike paper sacks, which gape open without the aid of a rubber band or paper clip, plastic bags are closed and secured with ease. And, unlike certain other types of bags and sacks, many plastic bags can be resealed after use.

Plastic bags are soft to the touch and easy to handle. Many even have embossed tops to facilitate handling, and come complete with double-track closures that make them simple to open and close. They're easy on some of the other senses as well; sealed plastic bags block out odor, which is why they're also popular as trash containers.

The low cost of poly bags is another benefit that's worthy of mention. You can purchase a large quantity of these bags at an economical price, and sometimes they can be reused. They're also easily stored; one small box of quart-sized bags, for example, can hold 40 7-by-8 bags.

Poly bags can be found in most every room of your home. In the course of one day, an average home manager can package leftover spaghetti, yard refuge, paper clips, coupons, and their child's lunches (separately, of course...) in these handy bags.

Plastic bags also lend themselves to the appearance of a tidy, attractive home or home office. They're small, sleek, unobtrusive, and can be stored in drawers and cabinets.

Poly bags become particularly valuable when you leave your homestead. When you fly on a major airline these days, you must store most carry on gels and liquids in quart-sized poly bags before boarding the plane.

Polyethylene bags consist of a flexible, filmy packaging material and come in many different styles. Some can stand up individually on a shelf or in a cabinet; others are made with handles, or holes that allow for easy hanging. In addition, some are designed to expand, thus holding more contents than a typical bag.

While many storage tools and containers are available for purchase in today's marketplace, polyethylene bags offer an ideal blend of convenience, flexibility, attractiveness and economy.

Sometimes when faced with a multitude of choices, it's best to stick with a tried and true classic; one that has it 'all in the bag. - 30544

Great Ideas For Fall Wedding Centerpieces

By Aaron Hu

As a bride planning a wedding this fall there are many details and events that you have to take care of. One of these is your reception. You want to make it an event that is both elegant and enjoyable for you, your groom, and your friends and family. This can be even more daunting in the face of the challenge of matching decor with the theme of autumn. The best way to describe how well your decorations will be received by guests is impact. That is the reaction they will have to the overall effect of your efforts. In the case of a fall theme you need to be able to use the season colors in the most effective manner possible. One area to put your best foot forward in reception decorations is centerpieces. These are the decorations that placed at the center of your guests' tables. A great centerpiece brings the theme of your wedding into close proximity to your guests and increases the impact and the overall effect. Here are some interesting suggestions for fall centerpieces.

You can use floral arrangements for color. For autumn the colors yellow, brown, red, and orange are the primary hues. Most people would think that the only way to use these in floral arrangements is as tree leaves and not as flowering desert plants such as succulents. While this is a good idea, it is still more than possible to use flowers at this time of year. The key is to go for flowers that either blossom in this season or to use out of season flowers. Out of season offerings are now going at clearance prices so they will be a great bargain. To match the seasonal motif, choose flowers that are in the seasonal hues. For example chrysanthemums, poppies, and dahlias are great choices for the floral arrangement of your centerpieces.

Use candles for romantic and intimate lighting. This being the beginning of the cooling months of the year, candles are a definite must for the ambience of autumn. A great idea is to use very traditional candles as part of your centerpiece. To enhance the warm glow of the candles, try going with colored candle holders in red, orange, or yellow. These will help you transform ordinary candlelight into great mood lighting for your reception hall. You can also add another dimension to the atmosphere with appropriately scented candles. Choose scents that best reflect autumn and are not too overpowering. Remember, that when eating, smell is an important factor that influences the taste of food. So keep with pleasant, subtle scents.

Use seasonal foliage. A part of any seasonal motif is bringing nature inside. Other than using cultivated flowers, go for native greenery that is common in the autumn months. Using berry yielding plants, evergreen, and other hardy seasonal plants is a great way to enhance your centerpieces. A great idea for a multidimensional effect is to mix these plants with your floral arrangements.

You cannot talk about your centerpieces without talking about place cards. These are the seating cards that help your guest find their assigned seats. The reason we need to consider them is that between the centerpiece, dinnerware, and place cards much of the table space is already used. So when picking these items makes sure to consider size and balance. You want a robust centerpiece, but not at the expense of making seating cards basically ineffective. - 30544

Does Your Establishment Qualify as Restaurant Elite?

By Jose L Riesco

What sets your location apart, gives it a special buzz, makes people talk about it, prompt their friends to attend and generally establishes it as one of the restaurant elite? This is a question that every entrepreneur in this position should ask him or herself, as it is a position that each location should aspire to.

To survive, as human beings we need to consume a certain amount of food each day. We have, unlike other species on the planet evolved this process into something of an art. We're not just looking for the bare utensils and food that we need to survive, rather we are looking for a special social occasion and an entire industry has grown up to look after us in this respect. The restaurant owner today must be able to provide a first-class experience to assuage our needs.

What does it take to qualify for the restaurant elite? Most of the successful businesses in this area offer a seamless experience. This has been established through a lot of work and dedication and begins from the time that we leave the house to travel to the restaurant. Reputation is everything as a solid foundation to work on.

Primarily, for the client to really remember the experience at your establishment, you have to get everything right. A lot of this will stem from your pre-opening. The ambience and the decor must be conducive to the presented style and you must pay total attention to detail in every respect to be considered restaurant elite.

Isn't it true that you do not have total control over all the elements needed to rank your business as restaurant elite? Many believe this to be the case, although it is also true to say that if you do an adequate amount of preparation and planning then most things will fall into place. One example of an intangible element -- to enable your dining party to have the optimum experience there will need to be an "appropriate" number of other diners contributing to the ambience.

As a restaurateur, you should spend considerable time honing the customer service experience. While the food quality and presentation is highly important, the manner in which it is delivered and the attention given need plenty of focus. It goes without saying that the service staff should be top notch and know all about the menu, but they must be willing to be attentive in just the right amount, not too much and not too little.

Timing is essential in the delivery of the customer experience to enable you to qualify as restaurant elite. This applies to your entire staff from top to bottom and you must have a comprehensive and finite plan for all concerned. Remember that if one element is not in place, the entire experience can be spoiled.

Your goal as a business owner is to ensure that when clients leave the building they are so happy with their experience that they are ready to recommend you to their friends. To establish this and move toward your goal on the list of restaurant elite, you must ensure that passion is evident throughout the operation and flows from yourself down. It doesn't matter what theme and style you have chosen, every member must be committed to doing more than what it takes to make it work. - 30544

Good Ways To Use Albums And Digital Cameras At Your Wedding

By Aaron Hu

Weddings are a special and exciting time, not just for the bride and groom but for the guests of the wedding as well. In more recent times photographs have become cheaper and cheaper and leading to more people using photo album favors. Disposable digital wedding cameras have become cheaper as well and finding themselves on more and more reception tables. With some creative thinking a lot of cleaver uses have been thought up and used. Every bride and groom should take some time to think how they might be used at their wedding.

Every choice you will make about your wedding, besides your future spouse and your vows, involves money to some degree, even the wedding favors. Wedding photo albums provide the most choices of any of the favors. Prices can run from very affordable to quite elegant. Not only that but you can decide to match it to your theme or the wedding colors if you want. An album with sea shells will be great for a beach wedding but look rather funny at a Christmas wedding. Basically, if you can imagine it then you can find it in your budget.

Now some people decide to use disposable cameras at their wedding. There are a wide range of them available. Many of them are made just for weddings. You can find those decorate with flowers and such to at least fit the feel if not quite the colors of the wedding. For the most part they run about the same price except for one thing. That would be if you decide to pay for the processing when you buy the camera or when you turn them back in. The final cost of either one runs about the same as they are just directly adding the processing cost right on to the purchase price. So do you want the guest to take it with them and have the processing paid for or have them left on the table? If having them left on the table is the plan buy the ones without the processing. That way you won?t be paying for their processing or for any unused or destroyed cameras.

If you want the cameras to be left on the table so you can have candid picture in your wedding album it would be really best to leave a note saying so or a lot of them won?t make it through the wedding. The candid photographs taken by friends and family are a great, whimsical way to end your wedding album.

When you get your final collection of photographs from those cameras you will notice something. That is that if you don?t like looking at wedding reception pictures you have made a very large error. You will be looking at hundreds of them. Now of course you will edit them down to just as many as you want, but what about all your guests?

Here you have lots of options as digital photographs are free. Of course you want your guest to fill their albums with photos of that day but how? You can chose to send the best ones to them by email with some other ones that they are in. You might want to put the best ones up on a social media site like My Space. If you are really feeling crazy you can post them all on an online photo album. Whatever you decide make sure it is good for the guests as well, without them the day would not have been so special - 30544

Loyalty Programs Increase Repeat Shoppers

By Amy Nutt

To maintain profitability and increase sales, online merchants and traditional merchants must come up with inventive methods of increasing repeat shoppers. One method of increasing repeat customers businesses are taking advantage of is implementing loyalty programs. A loyalty program is based on the business concept that profitability is increased when one maintains a loyal customer base. It not only allows businesses to maintain customers, but attract new customers. The most beneficial reward program is one that shows customers they will be rewarded if they increase their spending at the business.

The following list outlines how loyalty programs increase repeat shoppers:

- Loyalty programs such as gift cards, buy so many items and get one free cards, or a discount on the next item coupon, encourages customers to return to the retailer and make more purchases. For instance, if a customer has to buy 10 bags of dog food to get one bag free, the business will make more money on selling the 10 bags than losing money on a free bag. This is true for discounts and cashback loyalty programs. Frequent-purchase programs and points programs are examples of loyalty programs.

- Word of mouth is a great free method of advertising. A customer who is participating in a loyalty pogram is likely to bring a friend to the business who will want to join the program. This is especially true for free coffee loyalty programs. Whether you offer cash back, or reward points, or discounts on items, giving the customer what they most value will lead to an increase in repeat purchases.

- More customers are now looking for free shipping when they order online. Offering a loyalty program where the customer gets free shipping is a great way to increase repeat purchases.

- A loyalty program shows the customer that you appreciate and value their patronage. Customers enjoy receiving rewards and are more likely to return to the business. Loyalty will be established and a large loyal customer bases will grow. The money a company spends out on a reward program is much less than the profits that will be obtained. There will be a great return on their investment.

To have a successful loyalty program, one must have a clear strategy, a targeted customer demographic base, a proven method of tracking the results of the program, a method that will result in acquiring loyal customers, a way of gathering customer data to be analyzed for marketing purposes, and loyalty rewards that customers want.

More businesses are establishing loyalty programs because the effectiveness of these programs is well-documented. Businesses have found that it is more profitable to keep existing customers than to constantly look for ways to attract new customers. Loyalty programs motivate consumers to spend more money more often. In these difficult times it makes sense to take advantage of every marketing tool available. Implementing and managing a successful loyalty program not only increases repeat customers, but allows for building a brand and loyal customer base. - 30544

Simple Keys to a Fabulous Look

By Jayde Johannsen

Fashion isn't just about the clothes you purchase. You can't just throw down a credit car and expect to look like a million bucks. The average woman doesn't have a stylist or personal shopper to make them look glamorous. But remember this fact: most of the best fashion comes from young women poor on resources but rich on creativity. Let's face it; if a broke young girl in New York City can change the face of fashion, you can discover a new look all by yourself.

Whether or not you're rolling in dough, it's very simple to learn how to dress in a way that's both timeless and flattering. Fashion isn't just about couture designers and ladies on the upper west side walking around with their designer handbags and their blow-dried dogs. Fashion has always been about the downtown, and style has always been something available to everyone. You don't need a ton of money to be stylish, you just need taste, and here are a few steps that make maximizing your taste just a little bit easier.

Get minimal. If there's less going on, there's less chances for you to make a fashion don't, after all. From artists to the women in charge of fashion houses, many of the world's best-dressed people who aren't looking for the spotlight opt for all-black when walking red carpets and dining at galas. The reason is that it's subdued, it's classy, and it's timeless. Wearing a simple black dress also means that it's easier to make it look as though you're in a completely different outfit by throwing on a different set of accessories and carrying a different bag.

As far as accessories go, less is definitely more. Also in the words of the always-brilliant Coco Chanel, if you're getting ready to go out, the last step to your outfit should be to look in the mirror and remove one accessory. You're a stylish woman, not a Christmas tree, and there's no reason to overdo it with hats, bracelets, necklaces, and loud handbags. Learn that less is more with accessorizing and your look will last that much longer.

Find clothes in your size. Everyone's made the mistake of getting something in the wrong size, and it's never a story that ends well. The way to be stylish is to know what fits you, and what looks good on you. Dressing in clothes that are your size not only makes you look more youthful than trying to dress "young" or "old," it allows people to see your real body in the best way possible. Instead of focusing on trends and thinking that your body type is made for whatever high-waisted dress or capris are in this season but only look good on a specific body type, take the time to dress in a way that makes you look the best.

Even if you're wearing last season's dress and washed your hair in a cold shower, there is no reason to let that affect the impression that you give to the world at large. Take pride in yourself and your wardrobe. So you don't have time right now to splurge on an outfit, don't worry about it.

After all, so much of style is just having the right attitude. That more than anything is what someone notices when you walk in a room. They can't see the tag on your dress or sweater, they can only see how you're carrying yourself and whether or not you look confident. So many people (including famous icons) who are now setting the bar for fashion started out with limited means, and managed to wow their way to the top. Keep their life stories in mind as you dress yourself with what you've got.

Now that you know the difference between simply following fashion or creating your own style, take these hints and run with them. Give your entire closet a head to toe inspection and be shocked at how much you have to run with. Head down to the local store and look at the racks in a whole new light. Just don't lose track of the fact that no matter what the fashion is, your take on it is what makes your outfit different from every other woman out there. Don't be afraid to make your own fashion statements now that you have something to say.

You will find that a good many of companies who supply pricing guns have their own websites. You will be able to see the guns they have on offer and maybe even be able to purchase online by inputting your details and credit card number. But don't just deal with the first supplier you visit online. The internet gives you the opportunity to shop around.

The beauty of searching for supplies, including pricing guns, on the internet is its pure convenience. You can source supplies without leaving your desk. The internet also gives you the opportunity to look at a wide range of suppliers. There is a problem though. By just visiting suppliers' websites you are not giving yourself the chance to lay hands on the products before buying them.

On some pricing gun suppliers' websites the only mode of ordering may be online, using a debit or credit card. On others there may be a help or ordering line, enabling you to phone in an order. If this facility is available you will be able to phone in queries and even try and negotiate a discount.

The beauty of ordering your items on the internet is that you are able to view a wider range of suppliers, some of which you might never have known existed. By visiting several different websites, you give yourself a much better chance of getting value for your order.

The internet also broadens the range of pricing guns suppliers you will be able to do business with. Instead of being limited by distance, you can now do business with suppliers throughout the country.

As well as finding the least expensive options possible, you will want to buy from a company which can guarantee a reasonably short delivery time. Delivery times, and costs, should be stated on the website. If they are not, a call to the company should give you the information you need.

The internet has revolutionised the way we purchase products, and it will also aid you in finding the best value pricing guns. - 30544

Finding The Best Value Pricing Guns On The Net

Pricing guns are important items in shops and retail establishments. They save time because hand writing price labels isn't necessary which releases staff for more important work. For those business people who need to buy a new price gun, one of the best ways of finding a supplier is on the internet.

Many suppliers now have their own websites, which not only display what they have to sell, but also allows you to buy online. If you are using this method to make a purchase, then you will obviously want to find the best value kit and the most reliable supplier.

The advantage of surfing the net for suppliers is that it avoids you taking the time and trouble to have to physically visit the suppliers to see the pricing guns they are selling. But remember, you will not be able to handle the goods you consider buying when you visit these websites. You will be able to gauge just how good the pricing guns are by what is published about them on the supplier's site. This could be a problem if you are looking at a brand you have never bought before.

Delivery times and regularity of supplies are important. This information, as well as costs, can be found on the website. Or at least there should a be a telephone number displayed, stating where you can ring through for the information.

The internet has revolutionised the way we purchase products, and it will also aid you in finding the best value pricing guns. - 30544

Romantic Ideas For A Cinderella Wedding Ceremony

By Andrea McClure

Cinderella weddings are the most popular and romantic of the fairytale theme ceremonies today. It is the unlikely story of how a girl that was made a servant by her stepmother became the bell of a magical ball that helped her find her prince and live happily ever after. For generations this story has helped entertain and inspire little girls and helped shape their dreams of romance for when they became young women. So it is natural that this story would become a popular wedding theme. The key to making your Cinderella wedding a personal success is to mix in element s of the story in a way that is unique to who you are and how you envision the ceremony. This can be a bit tricky, but here are some tips and suggestions to help you plan your Cinderella wedding.

Think about the venue where you are having the ceremony. The best place to start is to think about decorating the hall in period style. The tale of Cinderella was originally French. If you do research on the story you know that it is commonly set in the 1700s. In this case you would use the period style of the French as a guide in what decorations you use. Also when decorating the hall makes sure you use important motifs from the story such as pumpkins, glass slippers, and mice. Use these two ideas in combination for an extraordinary effect that will astound your guests. Just make sure you look for affordable alternatives for whatever you can't find to fit your budget. Also make use of subtlety to avoid making the hall look gaudy or tacky.

When choosing the clothing for your bridesmaids you can go with nice modern dresses that are a nod to the theme, or go with period costumes. Either way think about your bridesmaids' body figures and coloring to dress them in clothes that looks best on them. Just because you don't want them to outshine you on your special day doesn't mean that you can't help them look great.

In helping your groom organize the groomsmen clothing the same logic applies. Whether it is normal tuxedos or period costume make sure that they are tasteful and keep with the color scheme you choose. Make sure that everyone can find the same style and get something that fits. Look for a look that everyone will be happy to wear. This will make the look of your bridal party a success overall

Last but not least are your flower girl and your ring bearer. In the case of the flower girl a nice dress that matches your color selection is a great choice. In this case dress her in the traditional accessories of a floral wreath and a flower basket. You can also enhance her costume with silver or gold jewellery to commemorate the event. Not only will this be a great thank you gift for her participation, it will help pull her costume together. In the case of the ring bearer you can go with a traditional tuxedo or use a cute page's costume. Make sure that he is comfortable in whatever he wears. This will prevent any unnecessary fidgeting that will distract him from his task. As for the ring pillow there are several online stores that can give a selection that will perfectly match your theme. - 30544

Exciting Ideas For Bachelorette Party Locations And Gifts

By Andrea McClure

A bachelorette party is the celebration that the prospective bride has with her girlfriends before the wedding day. It is a time for her to have some girl bonding time with her close friends and family. Normally the party is just for close friends, family, and members of the bridal party. The honor of planning this event normally falls on you, the maid of honor so the responsibility is yours to plan a great party for the bride. Now to make it one of a kind, try to make it something that the bride will truly enjoy. We all know the stereotypes from TV and movies, the wild night out the flirting with boundaries and the last fling. In reality these are all deal breakers with serious consequences so it probably is not a good idea to make the bride doubt her decision at the last minute. This does not mean that the party has to be boring, but that you take into account the person that the bride is. If she is a person that can handle wilder entertainment go for it. If not, try for something of a different tenor and flavor of excitement. Taking this into account is especially important when considering the location of the party and the gift choices. Here are some suggestions and ideas to help get you started on planning a fun and unforgettable party.

A road trip is a great idea. Everyone remembers the thrill and excitement of their first long distance road trip without their parents and with a good set of friends. It is an opportunity to go somewhere new that you have never been to before and is a great way to bond with friends as you deal with the unpredictable on your trip. Use this trip to give the bride her last taste of the single life with a trip to major destination like New York or Las Vegas. In deciding where to go there are several factors to consider. First think back to conversations you have with the future newlywed about where she would like to go. Also it might be guided by activities that she never got to do yet. This is a great place to give you ideas as you can look for a destination that specializes in those particular activities. Since this is a trip then plan for time you are going to spend on the trip. Make sure to talk with the bride's family and groom to know when the majority of planning can be finished so you can have enough time for travel to and from the chosen destination before the actual wedding. Also think of the activities that you can do there as well as other fundamentals like lodging and food.

Another great idea is a favorite restaurant. This is great especially for the more laidback type of person who is getting married. Choose somewhere she feels comfortable at and enjoys spending time. A favorite restaurant is perfect because food is readily available and you can make reservations ahead of time. It will also give a higher probability of surprising her as you can more easily hide the surprise of a bachelorette party behind the invitation of a quiet dinner. With the location the downside is that depending on the venue the activities can be limited. So try to think of a place that allows for at the bare minimum conversation and has something like a dance floor or some other facility to accommodate large parties and activities.

Another great location is a place that specializes in activities and games like an arcade, sports complex, or obstacle course. The fun will be in competition or simply doing a "girl power" activity like rock climbing. The success of this location depends on the person but this is definitely something for the active type of person.

Now, we can talk about gift ideas. You can say that the bachelorette party is the mirror image of the bridal shower gift. It normally has something to do with the more intimate parts of the wedded couple's relationship. So it is okay to go with the traditional gifts like underwear, racy sleepwear and the like. This is probably the one area where you can tow the line a bit and embarrass the bride or amuse her.

Another gift idea is to simply get her things that she will enjoy. Useful wedding gifts like a bath set or a certificate to a spa are excellent ideas. Make sure it is something that best matches her likes and dislikes and you will surely come up with success. - 30544

Great Ideas Help You Increase Restaurant Sales

By Jose L Riesco

There are always ways that you can increase restaurant sales, whether you feel that you are on top of your business, or not. Experts tell us that unless you are actively trying to promote your business, you are effectively moving backwards in the real world. As such, a "go to" entrepreneur should be constantly moving.

We know that we should always turn to experts for advice and this is especially so when it comes to getting ideas to increase restaurant sales. However, in this case we're not necessarily talking about professional advisors, rather your own clients. Talk to those who are regulars or who come in for their first visit, as they are the best ones to give you direct feedback. Invariably, they will have some great ideas for you.

People are always looking for social proof these days and this is where great word of mouth will come in very valuable as you learn how to increase restaurant sales. Make sure that your operation is fundamentally solid before you look to expand and that you have a great experience with awesome food and first-class customer service. If you have all these elements in place, you will find that your traffic will naturally increase.

A certain number of your menu items will be key favorites and will be requested time and again. As the largest part of your business tends to come from the smaller part of your menu or these favorites, focus on these areas when you are trying to expand and increase restaurant sales. If you truly know what your customer wants, why bother with trying to roll out new menu items that may fall flat on their face.

All restaurants should have an Internet presence of some kind and those that don't are undoubtedly losing out. Put particular emphasis on designing and operating a great website that truly reflects what you are and what you have. Take time to ensure that you capture the contact information of visitors and compose a regular newsletter to send to them. Give them informative and educational material and you will find over time that you will increase restaurant sales by bringing in new clients who anticipate your good service as a consequence of your communication.

Your staff can be your best asset and you should try and incentivize them to be great salespeople for your organization. If they take time to introduce their friends, family and friends of their friends you will be amazed how your revenue stream can be boosted quite simply.

Go out into your local marketplace and come up with some ideas to link other businesses to yours. If there is some kind of affinity, common thread or cause, see how you can exploit this to mutual benefit. Remember that this has to be a "win-win" for both parties as you increase restaurant sales and drive traffic and sales to them as well.

It can be very beneficial for you to be regarded as the expert in your particular niche and you should do everything that you can to brand yourself accordingly. This will require a big effort on your part and consistent actions. Why not offer to write a column for the local newspaper and this will ingratiate you in their eyes, resulting in good free publicity down the road. - 30544

As a bride getting married in this month there are a lot of unique challenges you have to think about. For instance, you have to deal with a completely different color scheme. Also there are the challenges of not having the same selection of flowers you would during the spring or summer. However, you can use this opportunity to create a unique and extraordinary wedding that is as off the beaten path as the fact that you chose this time of year to be joined in holy matrimony with your groom. So as we get started think about not just the challenges, but the opportunities that you can take advantage of as you plan. The moment you begin to orient your thinking towards solutions instead of problems or obstacles you will immediately see the exciting possibilities and choices that await you as an autumn bride. Here are some suggestions to help you with planning the ceremony itself as this is the most important part of your planning.

The hall where you will have your ceremony is the first priority on your planning list. Since you are dealing with a fall theme, think about the color scheme you can use. The normal colors for the season are orange, red, brown, or yellow. In other seasons this particular grouping of colors would either seem too garish because of the bright oranges and yellows or in most cases completely exclude brown. The beauty of autumn is that these colors take new life because their association with the changing leaves of the season. A great place to start looking for hall decorations is those that are shaped like autumn leaves. This motif is excellent because it makes best use of the seasonal colors and is great when used in profusion. You can use as little or as many as you need to get the effect you desire. A great design scheme is a seasonal forest. Use this idea to create for your guests the feeling that they are witnessing the ceremony in a wood at the turning of the seasons. This will create a magical and unique setting to exchange your vows in.

Now you have to think about your bridesmaids' dresses and flowers. This another visible part of your ceremony especially since you will most likely pick dresses in colors and styles that match the theme of your wedding. As suggested for the decorations stick with the seasonal palette of orange, red, brown, and yellow. A good idea is to have your bridal party in each of these colors, repeating as little as possible. The effect will be subtle as people will realize the reason behind the color choices is the seasonal theme. The important thing to remember is that you match your bridal party with the colors that work best with them. Yes of course they are traditionally not supposed to outshine you, the bride but you still want them to look good. In the case of using brown as a dress color if it doesn't look good with the style of dresses you have chosen, try using more metallic variations like bronze, or copper.

The same sort of thinking goes for how you choose tuxedos for the grooms men. The majority of the color if you want the suits to look tasteful will be focused on the bowties or ties, vest, or cummerbund. Like the bridesmaids' dresses use different fall colors to reflect the theme. Also think of using seasonal plants for the lapel decorations. You can also do this for the bridesmaids' bouquets.

Finally there is your flower girl and ring bearer. In the end use the same judgment with some important additions that are unique to their roles. In the case of the flower girl make sure her accessories are fall oriented. For example a wreath made of fall leaves and flowers would be more appropriate the same thing for the basket of petals. You can put a twist on it with her scattering leaves instead of flower petals. For the ring bearer have his ring pillow be a fall related color or even have leave designs. Use your discretion. Overall the effect will be spectacular and you ceremony will have the look of an autumn wonderland. - 30544

Great selections are orange, golden yellow, deep brown, and red are colors that will immediately give the guest tables style and panache without you doing anything else.

Now we can focus on the centerpieces. The centerpiece is the main eye catcher for your guests and will help tie your theme to what is in front of your guests as they dine or simply rest from dancing and other reception activities. There are several ways to go about making centerpieces. The most traditional is to use floral arrangements using fall hues and flowers. Chrysanthemums, poppies, and sunflowers are common flowers used. A new trend is to use grains and dried grasses in centerpieces. If you live in the Southwest or similarly arid climates you can used succulents such as cactus and aloe Vera for your centerpiece.

Finally, there is lighting. Add a warm glow and aura to your reception venue with mood lighting. You can go with high tech options like light projectors that can project light in the shape of colored autumn leaves. If you want to go with something more intimate then you can go with candles. You can use candles just about anywhere in the reception hall.
