Understanding the Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth Headset

By Jon Hunter

The Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth headset has been introduced with many exciting features, the new call enhancing advanced technologies and a up to date noise cancelling system. It is planned to replace Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset, as it offers many design and technological improvements over the older model.

Being a design focused on user comfort, the Voyager PRO is a comfortable to wear and light behind the ear design. With ear tips which are both durable yet soft and flexible to provide a personalised fit. The microphone boom is fully adjustable to allowing precise microphone placement. The boom can also be swivelled round to adapt the headset for both left and right hand wearing.

The Voyager PRO's compatibility with the majority of Bluetooth mobile phones and telecoms devices is ideally suited to professionals who demand a headset that works as hard as they do. It uses Plantronics' QuickPair technology Which enables a set up which is both quick and easy and thanks to MultiPoint connectivity. This means Voyager PRO can be connected simultaneously to two Bluetooth devices. After which you can then switch between your chosen device seamlessly.

The Voyager PRO has the Dual-mic AudioIQ2 technology, through which we find background interference is cut by an astonishing 80%. Its noise cancelling microphones totally any eliminate unwanted background sound leaving the users speech crisp and clear. This has been achieved due to one microphone focusing on the users voice and the other focusing on offending unwanted noise, such as office hum or road works. After comparing the two signals the advanced technology filters the background noise to leave only the speech which is a crisp and clear.

The headset features the innovative three layer WindSmart technology, which deals with distracting wind noises, which can be problematic when the user is driving or walking outside. Due to it's native adaptive equalizer this technology ensure calls are crystal clear and the voice will sound the same as it would in a personal meeting,

The Voyager PRO's extended battery life of 6 hours of continuous talk time and five days on standby from one full charge allow for protracted and effective usage and as you would expect you are notified when the battery is running low by an audio alert.

All in all Plantronics Voyager pro is precisely what you would expect from a top of the line headset from the company which put the first headset on the moon. - 30544
